They quoted me a "minimum move" which included a short list of items (one dresser, one tv) and up to 62 medium boxes for a cross country move from Atlanta to Los Angeles.

I moved a total of 36 items - most of them small and medium boxes, a large tv (boxed). Upon pickup (AFTER they have loaded my things on their truck), they increased my price by 33% for "space" which was never properly measured or proven (and largely dependent on how well they are able to pack things tightly). My belongings fell well below what was included in the quote. (All of my stuff fit on ONE elevator ride!)

Additionally I had made arrangements in advance to use a credit card on pick up, and they demanded cash. This was a huge burden on me because I wasn't planning or budgeted to have that kind of cash flow disruption.

After the fact, they offered me a $100 credit, but ONLY if I removed any bad reviews (they had the nerve to send that in an email!!) This company is UNETHICAL and steals from its customers.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY - They are a broker and do not have good relationships with the moving companies to ensure their quotes are adhered to. It's the classic moving scam - and I don't know how to avoid it except to help others by warning them of my experience.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2170

I was extremely skeptical of using a full service moving company after the horror stories I have read online but this company really exceeded my expectations! From the first phone call they put me at ease by answering all the questions I had very honestly (and believe me there were a lot of questions)! Throughout the moving process their customer service department was always readily available when I needed assistance. I won't say there were no hiccups but everything was very minor and always addressed immediately by Trinity Relocation! I would highly recommend this company to even my closest friends and family and should I plan a move again in the future, I know who I can call! Thanks for making a stressful time in my life just a little easier guys!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1876

Total cost, $1,810. Trinity Relocation Group (or Patriot Relocation Corp) helped me with my move from the east coast to central. They were scheduled to come on a Sunday between 12-2pm. They called and said it would be later since they ran late with another move. They finally showed up after 10pm and loaded up the truck with my stuff before midnight. My neighbors hated me for that, but I needed to get my items out of the apt. before that Monday (the next day). Even though they were extremely late, the packing job that they did was great and they got to work right away. No BS. After an hour and 10 minutes, they were done loading the truck. I was charged an extra fee for the 2 flights of stairs that were at the apt. complex. They met me in TX two and a half weeks later. I was charged an extra fee for the space between the truck and the storage unit. (The first 75 feet is free, after that, they charge you.) You need to do your part by packing your items accordingly. If you take extra items, like vacuums and mirrors, they will charge extra as more care is required for fragile items. Buy appropriate boxes for the items you want to keep secure. They will wrap your couch and tables but if you're leaving it in storage, they remove the wrapping and it is up to you to wrap your furniture that goes in storage. Initial pricing: $1633. Ending price: $1810. Three stars. If they were not late that one day, I would have given 4 stars. Payment options: you can pay with a check, money order, or cash for the first half of the move, then when they get to the destination, it's money order or cash only. I would suggest paying with a check the first time and then money order the second time to keep a record that you did indeed pay and no surprises later. All in all, a bit stressful due to lateness but it went well and everything worked out.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1810

Regrettable experience. The booking process was great. They rescheduled my first move, which wasn't even a big deal. However, the movers were 5-6 hours late on the day of pick-up. Trinity did not answer any phones after 5:00PM EST like I was led to believe. I called every extension leaving messages and no one got back with me. I had no other option but to move on that day, as I also had to make a trip that night, and they did not seem phased that I might miss it. At no point did anyone from Trinity call to say the movers would be late nor did they call in the following days to see that I got picked up. Upon delivery my mattress was not on the truck. I have constantly gotten cross-talk from Trinity, the carrier, and the driver. One says they are trying but cannot reach the other, yet I can get ahold of someone when I call. The carrier blames Trinity, while they blame the carrier. I see all the other reviews on here are positive, and that's great for them, but I feel screwed over. Eventually, after a couple weeks at this point, Trinity called to offer a claim. The amount hinged on deleting or amending my previous review to be more positive. The amount offered was a nice gesture, but I am looking at several hundred dollars in rectifying this situation (new memory foam mattress, bedding which I packed on the mattress, and the cost of movers to deliver it). Also, I now have to potentially miss a day of work depending on when my new mattress is delivered. I just wanted my things back, or a reimbursement to total the cost of replacement, and to forget the moving experience. If I have to suck it up and not take a claim so that I can leave up what I feel is an accurate review, so be it. I am just glad to cut my losses and move on from the whole situation.

I’m so happy with the service I received from Trinity Relocation Group. They have us a timely and comprehensive quote that they stuck to. The day of our move I found them very easy to work with. I had to make some last minute adjustments to our scheduled time and they were happy to accommodate me. The guys that moved us were awesome. They were so careful and had all the right equipment and supplies. Nothing was damaged. I appreciate movers that are this friendly and efficient. I would hire them again.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5940

I have had several long distance moves and I have never been more disappointed. Trinity never represented themselves as a broker and I ended up dealing with 3 additional companies throughout the process. The price more than doubled from the first estimate.

I had horrible service from the company that picked my belongings. They stated when they arrived that didn’t know they were actually packing my belongings and therefore did not have enough supplies. My items were packed so poorly that I incurred extensive damage to almost all of my furniture. I was charged extra for wardrobe boxes and then they just threw as much as they could in the box.

Finally - and most disturbing - is I am trying to submit a claim for all the damage. Trinity, the broker, the one who told me they were insured, stated they don’t do the claims and I have to deal directly with the company they subcontracted with. That company will not send me claim forms and Trinity is trying to wipe their hands clear if this entire mess. I’m not quite sure what service they provided me.

In retrospect they did not get me a lower price than I could have gotten on my own. They did not uphold their end to insure my move. I have thousands of dollars in damage and missing furniture and no one is taking responsibility.

Do NOT use this company. Hire your own company direct it will save you money, hours of phone calls, and unbelievable frustration.

I set my move up with Trinity over the phone and they couldn’t have been easier to work with. They were able to quote me quickly and answer all of my questions. They showed up on time and they really sent us the best guys they had. They were professional and easy to talk to. I have moved a lot and this is the first time my experience has been so quick and easy. I honestly feel like I got a great deal because they are worth so much more than what they charged me. I will without a doubt be using them again. If you want my advise, use these guys!

These guys really have their stuff together. When I contacted them they knew exactly what they were doing and were able to give us a quote ASAP. They listened to what we wanted and I really got the sense that they wanted to give us good service and not just a one size fits all moving experience. The guys they sent us were friendly and ready to go the moment they arrived. They were hardworking and didn’t stop for any reason. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again without any hesitation.

I had been using another company for my previous moved but after losing several things in my last move I decided to try out another company and I’m so glad that I did. Trinity Relocation Group is not only more affordable than the last company I used but they were also far more professional their movers worked so hard to get everything done quickly and safely. These guys weren’t just respectful and skilled but they were genuinely fun to be around. The next time I move they will absolutely be my first choice. I am really pleased with my experience.

I am another one of their victims. I didn't see these reviews in advance. I am right now in the process of moving..our move is set for Sunday. Their original estimate was 5k for a move from CA to TN. We have a very small home and I did all of the packing myself.
They called today to get my box count and guess what? My move is now $9,200! So I was strong armed into giving them more money. It's called extortion. Now, they will say that my box count went up, but their estimator was the person who "guessed" what my box count would be. He is the professional, not me. If he was off by a little bit, I would have completely understood. But to be off by 50%?
I am giving them the chance to make it right. I'll update after the move.

My mistake, I did not read reviews before booking them. A truly bad company. DON'T USE THEM!

It was a very bad experience after the initial contact!
The day prior to my move being picked up, I had a rude dispatcher telling me I had to give him number of boxes. It's not the ask, it's the way he spoke to me.

I specifically specified that my move had to arrive on a specific date. I received 5 calls at different times from different drivers claiming my move would arrive prior to requested date.

The day my move arrived, one furniture piece as completely damaged and two lamps, which all had to be thrown away.

This company misrepresents themselves from day 1 when you speak with a salesman. I asked if their movers were employees, as I did not want to deal with a company that brokers out to other moving companies.The salesman said yes, so I went ahead. But they do broker out to moving companiesThe movers they chose did not communicate at all as to when they might be coming. When they called, the driver seemed to be asleep, unhelpful and unprofessional. The team of local guys the driver had lined up on my end didn't show up as they found a higher paying gig. So he had to basically find some people the last second. They damaged 3 pieces of vintage furniture, ( dropped my couch).

Last week my family moved apartments. Although we have moved and stored with Trinity Relocation Group before and had positive experiences, we were blown away by our experience last week. Movers were hard-working, industrious and helpful. They packed up our entire kitchen, including some very fragile items, and still everything arrived at our new place without a scratch. I was talking to my wife how impressive this was. I look forward to using this company again when we are ready for our next move.

Then pick Trinity. California to Arizona. My cost went from 10500 to 14350. Took a week and a half to get delivered. Poor communications when things went wrong. Not looking forward to the Damaged Claims Process! They use bottom feeder moving companies! Ours had to use 2 Budget Rental trucks and one broke down and they still had the nerve to demand final payment in full. Cross Country Relocation LLC out of San Fernando. Mayflower had quoted a solid 15 grand and would have delivered two days after pickup. Packing included for entire house. We packed half of the things for these guys. Crews were great-understaffed, worked hard, but no equipment support from management. Felt sorry for them. Tipped well and fed them lunch. Management did not even provide adequate appliance dollies for the heavy appliances. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. TRINITY IS A RELOCATION PIMP< AND ONCE THEY GET THEIR MONEY< THEY BECOME ALMOST NON EXSISTENT

To be clear, this is a broker who’s only responsibility is to give the customer a quote for the move and to schedule an actual moving company for you. Trinity Relocation really does nothing but add thousands of dollars to your move. You, as the customer, can do everything this company does.

Trinity Relocation hired us a moving company with abysmal online reviews, who broke and stole (lost) a surprising amount of our things. Trinity costumer service claims to “be an advocate if unfortunate circumstances arrive,” but has done nothing to help or remedy our unfortunate situation.

When I asked one of their customer service agents if they would suggest that own mother use this company, this person chuckled and said no. She would not elaborate as to why she felt this way.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Call and book your own movers.
